The Seven Principles

Signatory organizations commit to upholding the following principles:

We believe that cultural diversity is not a challenge to be managed, but a shared heritage to be protected and celebrated. We commit to reflecting this belief in our policies, programmes, and the communities we serve — ensuring that multiple cultural perspectives are genuinely included, not merely acknowledged.

Who Should Sign?

The Statement is open to any organization that shares a commitment to the values of intercultural dialogue and wishes to formally demonstrate that commitment. It is designed for a broad range of institutions, including government agencies and public bodies, international organizations, non-governmental and civil society organizations, academic and research institutions, cultural institutions and foundations, private sector organizations, and media organizations.

There is no membership fee required to sign.

What Happens After You Sign?

Once an organization submits its application through the GUIDE Member Portal, GUIDE staff review the submitted Statement of Support to verify the commitment. Upon verification, the organization is formally listed among GUIDE's official signatories and becomes part of a growing international network of institutions dedicated to advancing intercultural dialogue in practice.

The primary contact designated during the application process will receive a confirmation once the organization's signatory status is active.
