Within the framework of the "Youth in Intercultural Dialogue for Peace – Baku Forum"—organized by the "Bir Könüllü" Students Cooperation Public Union, with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and in partnership with Baku State University, the "BSU Volunteers" organization, and the Global Union for Intercultural Dialogue (GUIDE)—the second panel discussion titled "Intercultural Dialogue and Peace: Global Challenges and Local Solutions" was held.

Speaking at the panel discussion, Ayten Gurbanova, a lecturer at the Department of International Relations of Baku State University, addressed the strategic importance of intercultural dialogue amid the global uncertainty and rising geopolitical tensions observed in the modern system of international relations. Emphasizing the relevance of peacebuilding processes, particularly in the South Caucasus region, she noted that Azerbaijan's diplomatic initiatives in this area have made a significant contribution to fostering stability and cooperation in the region.

The speaker highlighted that, in recent years, Azerbaijani diplomacy has played an active role in advancing the peace agenda, promoting regional dialogue platforms, and strengthening an environment of mutual trust. She emphasized that this approach serves to develop a culture of peace not only at the regional level but also globally.

The panel discussion was moderated by Rufiz Gulizada, Deputy Chairman of the "Bir Könüllü" Students Cooperation Public Union and project manager. He noted that the session was held in an interactive format, with participants actively engaging in the discussion through Q&A and an exchange of ideas, and he emphasized the importance of youth involvement in these processes.

In conclusion, the views expressed by the panel participants were summarized, and the importance of continuing discussions on intercultural dialogue, regional peace initiatives, and the role of youth in these processes was underscored.

Notably, the Baku Forum serves as a vital platform for promoting intercultural dialogue among the youth, strengthening the values of peace, and discussing local approaches to global challenges.
