The second training session conducted in English within the framework of the project “The Azerbaijan Model of Intercultural Dialogue: Awareness Raising and Creation of New Tools” has been successfully held.

The training took place at the Creative Center with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan and was organized by the Global Union for Intercultural Dialogue (GUIDE). The event brought together professionals from the cultural sector, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and young participants.

Based on non-formal education methodologies, the session enabled participants to explore the hidden dimensions of culture through the “Culture Iceberg” concept. Additionally, through the “Forward Step” exercise and role-playing activities, participants practically analyzed the concepts of privilege, inequality, and inclusivity.

The training provided participants with the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of cultural diversity, strengthen empathy towards individuals from diverse backgrounds, and acquire practical tools to promote dialogue within their communities.
