7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue to be Held in Baku

The 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue will be held in Baku on October 27–29. The Forum will be realized through the joint partnership of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO), and the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UN Tourism). Notably, the Forum serves as an integral part of the "Baku Process" on intercultural dialogue initiated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, in 2008. Founded in 2011, this year marks 15 years of the World Forum framework's global operation.

The Baku Process and the Forum organized under its umbrella are recognized by the United Nations as a leading global platform for the promotion of intercultural dialogue and international cooperation.
