Azerbaijan's Peace Initiatives and Opportunities for International Cooperation Discussed at the UN

Within the framework of World Interfaith Harmony Week, held from February 1 to 7, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in a high-level panel organized at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Speaking at the panel, Deputy Minister of Culture Farid Jafarov highlighted Azerbaijan's contributions to regional and global peace and stability under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev, as well as the role of the "Baku Process" as a global platform in the field of intercultural dialogue.
During the visit, the delegation held meetings with Felipe Paullier, UN Assistant Secretary-General for Youth Affairs; Miguel Ángel Moratinos, High Representative for the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC), and Nihal Saad, Director of UNAOC; as well as Nyaradzayi Gumbonzvanda, Deputy Executive Director of UN Women.
The meetings focused on the participation of youth and women in cultural processes, alongside prospects for cooperation within the framework of the World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
