A meeting was held at the Ministry of Culture with the leadership of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations

On March 11, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Adil Kerimli, met with the High Representative of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Ángel Moratinos, and the Director of the organization, Nihal Saad, who are currently on a visit to the country.

The parties noted that the partnership established within the framework of the “Baku Process,” initiated by President Ilham Aliyev at the global level, has been further consolidated. They discussed the ongoing preparations for the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue, which will be held in Baku this October.

The conversation also addressed the growing importance of cultural diplomacy and intercultural dialogue in a complex geopolitical environment, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation in this field.
