"Let's Create Lasting Peace through Culture" International Forum was organized by Azerbaijan Democratic Student Youth Organization (ADSAYO), with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan in partnership with the Global Union for Intercultural Dialogue (GUIDE).

Overview

The "Let's Create Lasting Peace Through Culture" International Forum was held in Baku over four days, bringing together NGO leaders, young leaders, government and international organization representatives, experts, and civil society representatives from 10 countries. Organized within the framework of the Baku Process, the Forum aimed to promote Azerbaijan's model of intercultural and intercivilizational dialogue and foster sustainable cooperation between foreign and domestic civil society institutions.

Structure

The Forum was conducted across multiple venues in Baku, including Azerbaijan Tourism and Management University and Baku Eurasian University, combining panel discussions, interactive sessions, presentations, and networking activities. The program was structured around four thematic panels: "Peace Through Culture: Active Youth Participation," "Multiculturalism and Tolerance as Tools for Peace and Coexistence," "Cultural Diplomacy and Peace Advocacy," and "Sustainable Youth Cooperation in Developing a Culture of Peace."

Outcomes

The Forum concluded with the unanimous adoption of a Declaration by all participants. The document recognized Azerbaijan's Baku Process as a positive and sustainable global model and called for its broader international promotion. It further recommended the continuation of international and regional youth projects in the fields of intercultural dialogue and cultural diplomacy, and encouraged the development of networking initiatives among young people in these areas. Participating organizations were also invited to formally engage with the Baku Process.
