Baku Process

An international platform driving concrete global action for diversity, dialogue, and mutual understanding

The Baku Process is a globally recognized institutional framework for intercultural and intercivilizational dialogue initiated by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2008. Leveraging Azerbaijan's unique geographical and cultural position as a bridge between the East and the West, the initiative aims to foster mutual understanding, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence between Muslim and Western societies. Operating through a structured cycle of biennial World Forums on Intercultural Dialogue, the platform actively engages international organizations, governments, and civil society.
